Article 31: Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
To give all children the opportunity to engage in various activities after school we offer free enrichment clubs. These change on a termly basis depending on the children’s suggestions and what staff wish to run.
The children have been busy helping to develop our sensory garden and planting area. At their last session the children showed their family what they had planted and their bug house before enjoying cake and a drink together.
Children who attend craft club enjoyed making art work using sharpie pens and tie die.
The children who attend Gymnastics club have learnt to do various rolls as part of a simple routine. They will build on this to add in apparatus and investigate with different ways of moving as well as jumping and landing safely.
Lego club are working together to create a Lego city which is on display in our reading area. The city will then be used in the Reception classroom.
Lego club loved sharing their models with their family during their last Lego club.
The children are enjoying playing a range of different games with Tracy. They have played Disney Pictureka and Connect 4. They are aiming to create their own board games by the end of the club.
